Disney Springs Parking Guide: Find Faster, Stress-Free Spots Today

For years I avoided parking at Disney Springs. Although we usually bring our van on vacation and know a few Disney World parking tips, we often found it easier to use Disney transportation when visiting Disney Springs. That changed on our most recent trip.

This visit was a short stop while we were in Florida for the beach and LEGOLAND, so Disney Springs was only on the itinerary for dinner. Even so, I’d heard the new parking garages made visiting much simpler, and this was our first chance to try them.

And honestly—I’m converted.

Easy Parking at Disney Springs

Parking at Disney Springs is genuinely easy now. We exited I-4 and drove straight into the Orange Garage, where electronic signs showed available spaces by level in real time. We found a spot quickly, then took the pathway on level 2 across the bridge that leads directly into Disney Springs. Pro tip: don’t attempt to go down to street level first—the street approach is blocked. The bridge is convenient and avoids any need to cross traffic.

Once you’re on the Disney Springs side, you can use elevators, escalators, or stairs to reach street level. The Orange Garage sits on the West Side near Splitsville and the AMC Theater, while the Lime Garage is closer to Town Center and the Marketplace. Both are very convenient depending on where you want to go.

We made our dinner reservation at The Boathouse on time and enjoyed a relaxed evening. Traveling with kids still brings its usual chaos, but having the car nearby felt comfortable and convenient. If we ever want a true date night, leaving the kids at the Pixar Play Zone and driving ourselves to Disney Springs would be an easy option.

I enjoy Disney transportation, but parking was so fast and straightforward that I suspect we’ll drive to Disney Springs more often—even on longer visits. Having our vehicle makes getting back to the hotel simpler and carrying purchases or gear far less of a hassle.

With the Orange and Lime garages on either side of Disney Springs and a third deck under construction, parking is now quick and accessible. Best of all, parking is free.

True story.

Disney Springs Is Worth a Visit

I’ve visited Disney Springs—formerly Lake Buena Vista, Disney Village, and Downtown Disney—my whole life and it holds many fond memories of shopping, dining, and seasonal celebrations. I always enjoy looking for themed items to wear at Disney, so stopping at Disney Springs is a must for me.

We had a lovely evening and, like every Walt Disney World trip, learned something new. I’m grateful for the reliable bus service when we don’t have our own car, but now that parking is simple and pleasant, we’ll likely drive more often. The added perk is more time for shopping and flexibility in our plans.
